The Corporate Philanthropy team manages the Bloomberg's partnerships with charitable and cultural organizations globally, collaborates with departments, teams and offices to drive business, and coordinates all volunteer engagement and employee giving with partner organizations.
Your Role?
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join the corporate philanthropy team as a program manager for our employee programs and non-profit partners focused on social impact. In addition to maintaining relationships with our partners, you will be driving engagement in their programs with employees, clients, and prospective job candidates.
You are goal and detail oriented, think critically, take appropriate initiative, and enjoy working with a diversity of stake holders. We’ll expect you to be nimble, understand our strategic priorities and be able to manage events and projects from conception to execution.
In this role, we’ll trust you to work as part of a team, helping us to align corporate philanthropy’s goals with Bloomberg’s business priorities. Creativity, flexibility in terms of hours and approach to work, as well as excellent organization skills are key to the success of this position.
We'll Trust you to:
Maintain a wide range of partnerships for employee engagement programs, including:
Overseeing our work with our current non-profit partners to develop programs and events that are beneficial to the communities and populations they serve along with providing meaningful volunteer opportunities for Bloomberg employees.
Identifying and building new partnerships with organizations, particularly those focused on corporate volunteer engagement that leverages Bloomberg’s culture of philanthropy for social good.
Managing philanthropic grants, volunteer initiatives, and awareness campaigns that resonate with the employees at Bloomberg.
Respond to internal and external queries about Bloomberg’s Corporate Philanthropy.
Maintain relationship with other members of the Corporate Philanthropy team, including:
Coordinating meetings to align on partnerships and programs.
Working with the Events team to create employee experiences, review timing and logistics, develop run of show, select catering, and manage other event details, when necessary.
Analysis and tracking of metrics, preparation of reports, and communications.
You'll need to have:
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility, with non-profit organizations, leading employee engagement, or a related field.
Proven ability to build partnerships, develop programs, and measure impact.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with grant management, volunteer platforms, or employee giving tools is a plus.
Ability to work with a multitude of individuals – across business units, with varying experience and tenures, and often senior level management
Capacity to influence and direct others, often without direct line reporting authority
Desire to succeed in a fast paced, innovative, and ambitious environment
