Job Opportunity: Master Control & Transmissions Operator (12-month contract)

Bloomberg LP, a leading global media company, is seeking a dedicated Master Control & Transmissions Operator. This role involves managing broadcast operations, coordinating transmissions, and ensuring the quality and integrity of live media content.

Responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating inbound and outbound transmissions, managing fiber and satellite vendors.
2. Maintaining video/audio codecs, web streaming, and transmission technologies.
3. Checking in remote guests, color correcting feeds, and operating audio/video routing systems.
4. Uplinking and downlinking satellite feeds, optimizing signals.
5. Connecting to units and QC signals via LiveU Central.
6. Collaborating with departments to manage video input/output for broadcasts, websites, and terminals.
7. Overseeing commercial breaks and logs.
8. Working with reporters and producers on live output and OB setups.
9. Maintaining relationships with live show producers and assisting with remote feeds.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of color correction and QC for remote guests.
• Experience with RTS PAP IFB panels, LiveU, Fiber, and IP technologies; satellite experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and technical problem-solving abilities.
