Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP seeks a Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys in our Business Acquisitions and Securities practice group. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong corporate paralegal capabilities and excellent client service and project management skills.

The successful candidate will coordinate for clients and legal teams, develop and manage project plans, drive accountability, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform high-quality billable work and record time per firm policy.
• Demonstrated project management experience with plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong client service orientation with ability to manage client expectations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate records maintenance, new entity formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Handle UCC searches and filings, lien filings, and apostilles.
• Provide mergers and acquisitions and contract support.
• Serve as a key client contact, fostering strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams for client engagements and internal initiatives.
• Coordinate activities among attorneys, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and drive resolution of outstanding issues.
• Facilitate regular status updates, meetings, and reporting for clients and project teams.
• Manage project documentation, deliverable tracking, and follow-up action items.
• Ensure accountability among project participants and maintain momentum toward successful project completion.
• Support strategic client initiatives and special projects requiring cross-functional coordination.
