Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys in our Business Acquisitions and Securities practice group in Indianapolis. The role emphasizes organizational excellence, client service, and strong project management across client engagements and internal initiatives.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with attorneys, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, manage corporate records and filings, and drive timelines and deliverables to completion with attention to detail

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate paralegal, legal project management, client service, consulting, or related experience
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications
• Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple attorneys, clients, and teams

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate records maintenance, new entity formation, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Handle UCC searches and filings, lien filings, and apostilles
• Provide mergers and acquisitions and contract support
• Serve as a key client contact, fostering relationships through proactive communication
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams for engagements
• Coordinate activities among attorneys, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive resolution of delays
• Facilitate status updates, meetings, and reporting for clients and teams
• Manage documentation, deliverable tracking, and follow-up actions
• Ensure accountability and momentum toward project completion
• Support strategic client initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination
