Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP seeks a Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys in our Business Acquisitions and Securities practice group. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who combines strong corporate paralegal capabilities with exceptional client service and project management skills.

The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of coordination for clients and legal teams, developing and managing project plans, driving accountability, and ensuring projects are completed

Qualifications

• Ability to perform high-quality billable work and record time following firm policy.
• Experience developing and executing project plans and stakeholder communications.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to manage client expectations.
• Proven organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate records and handle formation, governance, and compliance.
• Manage UCC searches and filings, lien filings, and apostilles.
• Provide mergers and acquisitions and contract support.
• Serve as a key client contact with proactive communication.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams for client engagements and internal initiatives.
• Coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
• Facilitate regular status updates and reports for clients and project teams.
• Manage project documentation and deliverable tracking.
