Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys in our Business Acquisitions and Securities practice group in Orlando, FL. This role emphasizes strong corporate paralegal capabilities, client service, and effective project management.

The successful candidate will coordinate with legal teams and clients, manage project plans, and ensure tasks stay on schedule and within scope, while delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience managing corporate paralegal projects and client communications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans with timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate records maintenance, new entity formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance processes
• Handle UCC searches and filings, lien filings, and apostilles
• Provide mergers and acquisitions and contract support
• Serve as a key client contact, fostering strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams for client engagements and internal initiatives
• Coordinate activities among attorneys, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and drive resolution of outstanding issues.
• Facilitate regular status updates, meetings, and reporting for clients and project teams
• Manage project documentation, deliverable tracking, and follow-up action items
• Ensure accountability among project participants and maintain momentum toward successful project completion
• Support strategic client initiatives and special projects requiring cross-functional coordination
