Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys in our Business Acquisitions and Securities practice group. This role rewards highly organized professionals who combine strong corporate paralegal capabilities with exceptional client service and project management skills.

You will serve as a primary point of coordination for clients and legal teams, developing and managing project plans, timelines, and workstreams, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of corporate paralegal or related experience.
• Strong project management and client-service orientation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with UCC filings and corporate records management is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate records maintenance, new entity formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance processes
• Handle UCC searches and filings, lien filings, and apostilles
• Provide mergers and acquisitions and contract support
• Serve as a key client contact, fostering strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams for client engagements and internal initiatives
• Coordinate activities among attorneys, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and drive resolution of outstanding issues.
• Facilitate regular status updates, meetings, and reporting for clients and project teams
• Manage project documentation, deliverable tracking, and follow-up action items
• Ensure accountability among project participants and maintain momentum toward successful project completion
• Support strategic client initiatives and special projects requiring cross-functional coordination
