Altern Technology Systems in Los Angeles seeks a Corporate Paralegal to draft governing documents, assist with transactions, and manage due diligence. You will prepare stock and partnership interest assignments, and keep records up to date.

The ideal candidate has strong regulatory and tax filing coordination skills, and an ability to keep attorneys informed of changes. Experience at a law firm a plus.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal at a law firm or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Draft governing documents such as bylaws and operating agreements.
• Assist with purchase and sale transactions.
• Draft stock, membership and partnership interest assignments.
• Retrieve, review and organize due diligence documents.
• Coordinate annual and miscellaneous regulatory and tax filings.
• Prepare gifting documents for estate planning clients.
• Create deeds and related property transfer documents.
• Conduct legal research.
• Keep current with Secretary of State revisions and inform Firm attorneys and paralegals of relevant changes.
