Job summary

Eleo is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join the Legal team in a dynamic, international business. This hybrid role involves managing commercial contracts from inception to completion, coordinating with multiple divisions to ensure efficient and compliant processes.

You will support a broad portfolio across freight forwarding, warehousing, road transport, customs brokerage and logistics solutions while improving contract workflows and governance.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding, Logistics, Transportation, Brokerage or Warehousing Contract Experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the administration and coordination of commercial contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
• Monitor progress of contract negotiations and maintain records in the contract management system.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders during review and approval process.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements including customer and supplier contracts.
• Maintain organised records of executed agreements and other key legal documentation.
• Support pre-dispute activities with correspondence and demands when required.
• Identify opportunities to enhance legal processes and contract workflows.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team in a dynamic, international business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of commercial legal matters while supporting multiple business divisions in a fast-paced environment.

As a trusted member of the Legal team, you will play a key role in managing commercial contracts from inception through to completion, partnering with stakeholders across the business and helping to ensure legal processes are efficient, compliant and commercially focused.

You’ll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, road transport, customs brokerage and logistics solutions, making this an ideal role for someone seeking variety and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Contracts

• Take ownership of the administration and coordination of commercial contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
• Monitor the progress of contract negotiations, maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date within the contract management system.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders throughout the contract review and approval process.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, supplier agreements, confidentiality agreements, agency agreements and master service agreements.
• Maintain organised electronic and physical records of executed agreements and other key legal documentation.
• Support pre-dispute activities by preparing correspondence, demand letters and other legal documentation where required.
• Identify opportunities to enhance legal processes, improve contract management workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Legal & Business Support

• Work closely with colleagues across multiple business functions, providing practical legal and contractual support.
• Assist the Legal team with a variety of projects and additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
• Help ensure contractual obligations, commercial risks and governance requirements are effectively managed.
