Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Corporate Legal Affairs team in Alameda, CA. You will support SEC reporting, governance, and corporate records in a fast-paced biotech environment.

You will coordinate board meetings, maintain minute books, and assist with SOX, 16 filings, and due diligence for M&A, working closely with Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, and executives to keep compliance and governance on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.
• 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting a publicly traded company or large law firm.
• Knowledge of SEC reporting and corporate governance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements).
• Coordinate corporate governance activities, board and committee meetings.
• Maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity management.
• Administer insider trading compliance and Section 16 filings.
• Assist with SOX compliance procedures.
• Support M&A due diligence and litigation document management.
• Manage legal document systems and cloud file organization.
• Coordinate legal training sessions, budgets, and vendor invoices.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, and executive leadership.
