Job description

Pentecom is seeking a corporate knowledge integrator to join our technical data and consulting team! The corporate knowledge integrator will rotate through all Pentecom functional areas to facilitate knowledge integration across corporate domains. This individual ensures that documentation and training materials are accurate, complete, and consistent, leveraging extensive experience in military technical publications to support and enhance core capabilities.

Note: The corporate knowledge integrator position is a full-time, remote position.

Primary Responsibilities

The corporate knowledge integrator will participate in scheduled rotations through various Pentecom functional areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of internal workflows and to support cross-functional knowledge sharing:

1. Development
   • TOAP_Team Support: Viewer stylesheet issue development, submission, and monitoring
2. DSS
   • Pub QC
   • Interactive Flow Authoring
3. TDAC
   • Issue Analysis
   • DMRL Development and Support
   • Training Development and Delivery
4. Pubs Services
   • PCR Incorporation
   • Illustrating
   • Quality Assurance (QA)
5. PMO
   • Project workflow setup, tracking, deliverables support, and documentation of customer issue responses
   • Customer Presentation Support: Slide development and reporting
   • Business Development: Proposal development and related support

The role adheres to all Pentecom security policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

The Corporate Knowledge Integrator must possess deep and broad technical data expertise, demonstrating proficiency in:

• Military technical data standards, especially S1000D
• All Air Force technical order specifications
• Authoring tools: Arbortext, Oxygen, FrameMaker
• Technical publication authoring from engineering notes
• XML markup to specification
• S1000D viewers: LiveContent, IADS, NSIV
• Distribution systems: ETIMS, NATEC
• TO management processes
• Experience with platforms such as B-1, C-5, B-52, F-15, C-130, A-10, and FMS CSTOs
• Experience in illustrating, training development, supervising, leading, and mentoring

Education Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of military technical publications experience
