SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Data integration developer will build and maintain integrations across various business platforms. In this role you will identify, plan, and implement integration patterns, create data sets for other developers, and ensure ongoing monitoring and maintenance of existing integrations. To ensure success as an integration developer, you will need to have analytical and problem-solving abilities, be comfortable researching new platforms, and be able to adapt to diverse data providers. A top-notch integration developer can creatively solve integration problems and is comfortable writing and maintaining complex systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Devising and implementing integration development plans and strategies.
• Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.
• Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations.
• Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.
• Checking and correcting conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.
• Maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture.
• Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.
• Identifying, debugging, and advising on system errors or architecture issues.
• Assisting with the management of organizational databases and retrieval systems.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a data integration developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in ETL tools, scripting languages, and database management.
• Familiarity with IPASS solutions, ideally Snap Logic.
• Familiarity with API integration and web services, including the following platforms: HubSpot, NetSuite, Salesforce, SharePoint, Snowflake, UKG
• Solid understanding of data modelling, mapping, and transformation.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and fix errors in complex configurations.
• Interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to perform tasks independently.
• Good presentation and report-writing skills.
