Job summary

Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking an Corporate Insurance Coordinator in Minneapolis to manage COIs, insurance compliance, and program administration across OCIP/CCIP and Builder’s risk. You will support claims, licensing, and coordination with project teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in construction risk management or corporate insurance, with strong MS Office/XRMIS skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, risk management, finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of construction risk management or corporate insurance experience.
  • Familiarity with standard construction contracts, OSHA basics, and standard insurance lines (GL, WC, Builder’s risk, Umbrella, CCIP/OCIP).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, RMIS platforms, and construction management software.

Responsibilities

  • Review insurance requirements in construction agreements and issue COIs with endorsements.
  • Analyze subcontractor COIs for contract compliance and escalate gaps.
  • Assist in OCIP/CCIP, Builder’s risk, and subcontractor default insurance programs and enrollments.
  • Support claims management, litigation portfolio, and coordination with carriers and project teams.

## Corporate Insurance CoordinatorApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: Minneapolistime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-101845**Job Description:**Insurance* Review insurance requirements within construction agreements (including DBIA and AIA forms, bid documentation, master agreements, and subcontracts).* Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to owners/lenders including applicable endorsements.* Analyze subcontractors' COIs for strict compliance with contract requirements and non-compliant coverage and escalate discrepancies.* Assist in the administration of Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP), Builder’s risk and subcontractor default insurance programs* Manage subcontractor enrollments.* Support surety and bonding processes. Litigation and Claims Management* Assist, support, and step into a leadership role in managing the company’s claims and litigation portfolio.* Process and track insurance claims, including coordinating with project superintendents, injured parties, and carriers.Licensing Management* Lead the management and maintenance of the company’s general contracting and corporate business licenses across various states, municipalities, and jurisdictions to ensure seamless operational compliance.Qualifications and Requirements:* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.* Experience: 3+ years of experience in construction risk management, commercial P&C insurance, or corporate insurance compliance.* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with standard construction contracts, basic OSHA regulations, and standard insurance lines (General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Builder's Risk, Umbrella, CCIP/OCIP).* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel), construction management or payment software, and RMIS platforms.* Communication and Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to confidently explain complex insurance requirements to stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit policies and maintain complex legal/risk documentation.Compensation:The salary range is $70,000 - $75,000.
