Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator II to join our National Mission Critical team in Minneapolis.

You will support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, cost accounting, and document control for a variety of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include processing subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, drawings, and invoices; preparing bid packages; coordinating shop drawings; and assisting with procurement and closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage details in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager with planning, scheduling and cost accounting for commercial construction projects.
  • Process subcontracts, change orders, drawings, RFIs, submittals, invoices and insurance certificates using integrated software.
  • Prepare trade contracts, bid packages and assist with procurement; manage shop drawing approvals and documentation.
  • Coordinate project meetings and act as liaison between project team and external contacts.
  • Support owner pay apps and cost estimate database; assist with project closeout and punch lists.

## Project Coordinator II - Mission CriticalApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: Minneapolistime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-101775**Job Description:**Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Coordinator II to join our team in our National Mission Critical team!The individual will provide project support to the Project Manager and/or team to facilitate the planning, coordinating, scheduling and cost accounting of a variety of commercial construction project types.**Some things you can expect to do:*** Utilize integrated software systems to process and track subcontracts, change orders, drawings, RFI’s, submittals, invoices and insurance certificates.* Create and maintain project documents within predominately paperless office environment utilizing integrated software systems and network server file system.* Assist with the pre-construction efforts, as necessary. May assist with generating project proposals (i.e. RFP requests).* Prepare trade contracts and bid packages and assist with procurement process.* Oversee shop drawing, submittal and construction drawing approvals, documentation, and coordination.* Compose and/or edit communications (letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc.) as required by Project Manager/Project Staff.* Act as liaison between project manager/project staff and others, such as Corporate Services, external contacts, customers, etc. Arranges and participates in internal project meetings in coordination with project team.* Assist with owner pay application preparation and processing to exact schedule requirements; assist with cost estimate database under the direction of the project manager.* Manage the project closeout process including punchlist data entry; creation of Operation & Maintenance manuals and the distribution of Record Drawings, as required.* Identify and implement cost or time savings measures.## **Job Requirements:*** To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction.* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.## **You will really stand out if you:*** Have experience in a construction environment and with accounting software systems.* Carry a high level of professionalism, ability to communicate proficiently, both verbal and written.* Possess strong attention to detail, proven customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.**Compensation:**The hourly base pay is $29/hr. - $38/hr. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
