Sandstone-Healthcare-Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Human Resources Director to lead corporate HR functions and support facility-level HR teams across our healthcare network in Las Vegas. This role focuses on policy development, compliance, and strategic workforce planning.

The ideal candidate has healthcare HR experience, SHRM certification preferred, and a proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on HR operations in a growing organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or healthcare administration.
  • Minimum five years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Healthcare HR experience is required.
  • Experience supporting multiple healthcare facilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and compliance.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee matters independently.
  • Excellent communication, judgment and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all corporate HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, onboarding, benefits administration and policy development.
  • Serve as the primary HR leader and point of contact for corporate employees.
  • Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to facility administrators and HR teams.
  • Assist facilities with employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, terminations and leave administration.
  • Promote consistent HR practices across corporate operations and facilities.
  • Review HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development and retention.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding and leadership hiring as needed.
  • Identify HR and compliance risks and propose solutions.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for senior leadership.
  • Travel to supported facilities as needed.
  • Perform additional HR and leadership responsibilities as required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Human Resources Director to lead and manage all corporate HR functions while providing guidance and hands-on support to our facility-level HR teams as needed.

The ideal candidate must have healthcare HR experience and a strong understanding of the unique staffing, compliance, and employee-relations challenges within a healthcare environment. This position will maintain primary ownership of corporate HR operations while ensuring consistent and compliant HR practices across all supported facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee all corporate HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy development.

  • Serve as the primary HR leader and point of contact for corporate employees.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures across the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as applicable healthcare regulations.

  • Provide guidance and support to facility administrators, leadership teams, and facility-level HR representatives.

  • Assist facilities with employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective actions, terminations, leave administration, and other HR matters as needed.

  • Promote consistent HR practices across corporate operations and all supported healthcare facilities.

  • Review HR documentation and ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, employee retention, and performance initiatives.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and leadership hiring efforts when needed.

  • Identify potential HR and compliance risks and recommend practical solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and documentation for senior leadership.

  • Travel to supported facilities as needed.

  • Perform additional HR and leadership responsibilities based on organizational needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership experience.

  • Healthcare human resources experience is required.

  • Experience supporting multiple healthcare facilities or locations strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, HR compliance, workplace investigations, and performance management.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage sensitive and complex employee matters.

  • Excellent communication, judgment, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with executives, administrators, clinical leaders, department heads, and facility-level HR teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
