Qualifications

• 1–2 years in customer service, order fulfillment, retail, ecommerce, or gift services.
• Friendly and professional communication by phone and email.
• Creative or craft aptitude for gift wrapping and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and email with corporate gifts, ecommerce orders, product questions, order status, shipping information, tracking, and other customer service needs
• Help coordinate corporate, B2B, ecommerce, and phone orders from the time an order is placed through final shipment
• Gift wrap products, tie bows, assemble gift baskets and create attractive gift presentations for individual and corporate customers
• Prepare and package gift orders carefully, with strong attention to presentation and detail
• Ensure orders contain the correct products, quantities, gift messages, shipping information, and customer addresses
• Assist with the timely processing and fulfillment of online, phone, corporate, and special orders
• Prepare shipping labels, organize completed orders, and ensure packages are properly protected for transit
• Communicate with customers regarding order questions, shipping updates, tracking information, and any issues that may arise
• Work closely with other members of the team during busy holiday periods to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule
• Report customer feedback, order issues, website concerns, and opportunities for improvement to management
• Assist with other corporate gifting, customer service, packaging, and fulfillment activities as needed

Job Description

Join our “Sweet Team” working around some of the best hand-crafted chocolates in the industry at Phillips Chocolates, Boston’s original artisan chocolatier.

Phillips Chocolates is looking for a Corporate Gift Specialist to join our team and assist with our corporate gifting, ecommerce, and special-order business. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, order coordination, gift presentation, and fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, personable, and enjoys working creatively with their hands. Crafty skills and an eye for presentation are important, as responsibilities will include gift wrapping, bow tying, assembling gift baskets and gift packages, and preparing corporate gifts for our customers.

This position will also interact directly with customers by phone and email, help coordinate corporate and special orders from start to finish, and assist in making sure orders are accurately prepared, beautifully presented, and shipped on time.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, order fulfillment, retail, ecommerce, gift services, or a similar position preferred


• Friendly and professional communication skills with the ability to comfortably assist customers by phone and email


• Creative or crafty aptitude with an interest in gift wrapping, bow tying, gift basket assembly, packaging, or visual presentation


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy and Excellent organizational skills


• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during the holiday season


• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift


• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and safely organize, lift, and move merchandise, gift baskets, packages, and shipping supplies

Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal

Schedule

• 8-hour shift


• Monday through Friday

Work Location: In Person

Starting Rate : $19.00 per hour
