Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor) to advance our air and environmental programs at three sites north of Nashville.

The role focuses on maintaining Title V permits and ensuring regulatory compliance for heavy manufacturing operations. You will work with existing EHS professionals, support 40-50% travel, and drive development of environmental systems across KY, TN, and MO.

Qualifications

• Must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V Part 70 operating permits.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and multi-site compliance.
• Welding, blasting and painting operations knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Absolutely must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V part 70 operating permit experience (permitting and reporting).

Scope of role:

Seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor position with no direct reports) for a heavy industrial manufacturing company (welding, blasting and painting operations) that will support (1000) employees at (3) production sites (KY, TN and MO). Travel requirements 40-50% when needed. Oversee regulatory compliance throughout the facilities and responsible for leading the continuing development of their environmental systems.

This position will report into the Corporate EHS Director, and each facility has an EHS professional (more safety focused) that will manage their day-to-day environmental compliance needs. This Environmental Manager will work closely with these plant level, EHS Generalists.
