Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Analyst or Associate for the Corporate Derivatives Group in New York. The role blends corporate finance, derivatives and markets to help clients manage risk from capital activity, with exposure to structuring, pricing and execution alongside Sales & Trading.

You will analyze exposures, tailor hedging strategies and work across IB and capital markets on financings, M&A and related transactions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, derivatives or related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in financial markets.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
Sound judgment, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-moving environment.
MBA, CA and/or CFA beneficial but not required.
Relevant securities licenses or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

Advise corporate clients on interest rate, foreign exchange and other market risks.
Analyze exposures and develop tailored hedging and derivatives strategies.
Structure, price and execute transactions in partnership with Sales & Trading.
Work with Investment Banking and capital markets on financings, M&A and other strategic transactions.
Prepare and deliver clear, thoughtful analysis for client discussions.
Develop a deep understanding of the interaction between financial markets, corporate finance and risk management.
