Job summary

RIDE Mobility, a Los Angeles-based mobility and vehicle manufacturing company, seeks a Corporate Counsel to advise on employment matters, commercial agreements, contract disputes, and litigation for its commercial vehicle business.

Qualified candidates hold a JD from an accredited law school, are active California State Bar members, and bring at least four years of relevant experience in employment law, contracts, or litigation. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience in employment law, commercial contracts, or litigation.
• Ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Experience managing employment-related claims or litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment-related claims, disputes, and litigation; advise HR on employee-relations matters.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., equipment sales/lease, procurement, service, supply, SaaS, PPA, vendor, lease).
• Handle post-contract disputes involving customers, vendors, and partners.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, support strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
• Assess contractual and operational risks; advise business units on compliance.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to HR, Sales, Operations, and other departments.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient case handling.
• Assist senior legal leadership with broader litigation, compliance, and policy projects.
