Mango Languages is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support our legal function across a broad range of business matters, with a core focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer and vendor agreements, and helping manage risk.

This growth-track role starts with core contract work and RFP support, expanding to more complex matters as you build familiarity with Mango's standards and playbooks; collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission in good standing in any U.S. state.
• 5+ years of legal experience.
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
• Sound legal and business judgment, including ability to identify risk, recommend practical approaches, and escalate issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent ability to produce accurate, polished work.
• Comfort with using AI tools to streamline legal tasks and enhance outputs.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro; familiarity with a Mac-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements, including orders, subscriptions, technology agreements, statements of work, amendments, and NDAs.
• Identify and communicate legal, financial, operational, and business risks; recommend responses and elevate significant issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to structure terms and facilitate contract execution.
• Draft and review RFPs and related responses with rigorous quality assurance for accuracy and completeness.
• Refine contract templates, standard provisions, and playbooks; maintain organized records of contracts.
• Research and address a broad range of legal matters affecting Mango's business, including governance, employment, IP, regulatory compliance, risk management, and data privacy.
• Maintain understanding of Mango's contracting standards and product offerings; participate in legal initiatives and special projects.
