Impact

As Corporate Counsel, Commercial, you will support and scale our commercial legal function. You will be responsible for leading complex transactions, supporting procurement operations, managing contract lifecycle workflows, and advising on third-party risk, data use, and vendor governance. This is a key legal role supporting high-growth operational teams including Procurement, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Product, and Operations. You’ll partner cross-functionally to negotiate strategic deals, design scalable legal workflows, and serve as a trusted advisor on contracting best practices.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of legal experience with a focus on commercial transactions and vendor contracting, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts such as SaaS, technology, logistics, advertising agency agreements, and professional services agreements.
  • Deep understanding of commercial negotiation, operational contracting, and business risk allocation, including advising stakeholders on legal risks related to contract terms, data privacy, security, indemnity, liability limitations, and regulatory issues.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders in fast-paced environments, including Procurement, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with experience developing legal tools, trainings, scalable contract playbooks, and identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

  • Boston, D.C., L.A., S.F., Seattle, NYC: $123,000–$247,000
  • Other locations: $109,000–$219,000
