Job summary

Bombas seeks a driven Corporate Counsel in New York to support the Legal Team on contracts, privacy, employment and IP matters.

You will draft, review and negotiate diverse agreements, implement AI-enabled processes, manage external counsel, and help scale our legal operations while upholding the company’s mission and values.

This full-time role reports to the SVP of Legal and requires 4–6+ years of experience at a top firm or in-house at an ecommerce business.

Qualifications

• JD admitted to NY bar and in good standing.
• 4–6+ years of relevant experience at top firms or in-house.
• Experience negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements.
• Experience managing IP, privacy, and employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts incl. licensing, vendor, SaaS, master services.
• Lead contract lifecycle and implement AI-enabled processes to reduce manual work.
• Counsel on privacy, employment, intellectual property, and corporate matters.
• Provide concise, plain-English legal advice to all business functions.
• Create templates, policies, and scalable processes for the Legal Department.
• Manage IP portfolio monitoring and external counsel relationships.
