Our client, a company at the forefront of generative AI video technology, is seeking a Commercial Counsel on a permanent basis.

Location: Preference for NYC / Eastern Time Zone

What You'll Do

• Lead negotiations for complex B2B SaaS customer agreements, API contracts, DPAs, strategic partnerships, and vendor agreements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership
• Build and scale commercial legal processes, templates, playbooks, and legal operations infrastructure
• Stay ahead of emerging legal, regulatory, and policy developments in generative AI
• Support high-impact IP-focused partnerships and strategic initiatives

What We're Looking For

• J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
• 6+ years of commercial legal experience, ideally within a fast-growing B2B SaaS organization
• Deep expertise negotiating complex SaaS agreements and enterprise customer contracts
• Experience supporting strategic IP-heavy partnerships
• Strong business judgment and ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
• Passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI
• Bonus: Privacy, compliance, marketing, and vendor management experience
