Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced attorney to act as a key legal partner across North America and support regional operations in Central and South America. The role focuses on guiding commercial objectives, managing risk, and drafting complex agreements.

You will review client engagements, NDAs, vendor and real estate leases, software agreements, and employment offer letters while staying current on privacy and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania or New Jersey Bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong judgment, ethics, analytical skills, and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using generative AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Exposure to risk management, compliance, and corporate governance preferred.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including client engagements, NDAs, vendor agreements, leases, software and employment offers.
• Review public contract proposals, RFPs, RFQs, certifications, and representations.
• Evaluate and resolve conflicts of interest; assist with acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
• Partner with People Team on employment law matters and support collections activities.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research and monitor developments affecting the company.

• Provide practical legal guidance, manage risk, and support commercial objectives
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including client engagements, NDAs, referral agreements, vendor agreements, real estate leases, software agreements, subcontractor agreements, and employment offer letters
• Review public contract proposals, RFPs, RFQs, certifications, and representations
• Evaluate and resolve conflicts of interest
• Partner with the People Team on employment law matters
• Support collections activities, including collection letters and proofs of claim
• Assist with acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
• Support legal, risk, and compliance initiatives across the business
• Conduct legal and regulatory research and monitor developments affecting the company

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Pennsylvania or New Jersey Bar membership in good standing
• 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements

• Experience with conflicts reviews, employment law, insurance, real estate matters, or M&A activities preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. privacy and data protection laws and data processing agreements preferred
• Spanish language skills preferred
