Qualifications

• Entwicklung und Pflege von Standardvertragsvorlagen.
• Rechtsberatung zu multi-staatlichen Compliance- und Arbeitsangelegenheiten.

Job Details

Jobot is hiring an experienced and solutions oriented attorney to serve as Corporate Counsel, overseeing a wide range of legal agreements across multiple business lines and jurisdictions in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating, drafting, and managing complex contracts while providing strategic legal counsel to business stakeholders on various corporate transactional, litigation and employment matters. This role will be reporting to our General Counsel.

3 Things that are Needed for this Job

• JD from a nationally recognized law school and member in good standing with state bar (with preference for CA bar license)
• 3+ years of experience in employment law counseling, commercial contracts, and litigation under applicable federal and state law
• Experience in the contingent workforce/staffing industry strongly preferred

3 Things You will be Doing in this Job

• Act as the primary legal advisor for all corporate transactional matters, overseeing the drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining of customer, vendor and other business contracts across multiple business lines
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates, key clauses, and preferred language for use across client, supplier, and vendor agreements to ensure uniformity, compliance, and legal risk mitigation
• Assist with and offer legal counsel on a wide range of multi-state compliance, employment-related matters, and litigation
