Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Corporate Controller for a well-established, employee-owned manufacturing-led organization in St. Cloud, MN. The role leads enterprise-wide accounting, financial reporting, and controls across multiple entities, partnering with the CFO and executives on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic investments.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of accounting leadership, deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, and a track record of improving processes and systems across multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and corporate accounting practices.
• Experience within multi-entity organizations and in public accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain consistent accounting policies.
• Provide leadership to controllers and accounting teams across subsidiaries.
• Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop financial models and evaluate capital investments for strategic decisions.
• Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance processes.
• Coordinate financial reviews, audits, and valuation activities.
• Support treasury, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Lead finance systems enhancements and reporting transformations.
• Oversee corporate insurance and risk management programs.
• Manage mergers and post-merger integration from a financial perspective.
• Mentor and develop an accounting team; align goals with strategy.
