Job summary

NewsLink is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations across its operating entities. This hands-on leader reports to the CEO and will manage the accounting team in a lean environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.

Responsibilities include close processes, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audits, tax planning, cash management, and reporting to owners and lenders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Experience leading external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations across multiple entities, including GL, AR/AP, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with GAAP-compliant consolidated statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for ownership and executives.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Manage audits and tax compliance with external partners.
• Guide system implementations and finance-related special projects.
