Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller in St. Cloud, MN to lead enterprise-wide accounting, financial reporting, and controls across multiple entities.

The role reports to the CFO and partners with executives to drive strategic growth and process improvements. You will oversee close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, manage treasury and reporting, and guide a high-performing accounting team through multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and corporate accounting practices.
• Experience within public accounting and/or multi-entity organizations.
• Demonstrated budgeting, forecasting, consolidated reporting, audits, and internal controls expertise.
• Proven success leading accounting teams and implementing process improvements.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to translate financial results into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting technologies.
• Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 10-20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide accounting operations and close processes across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and consistent accounting policies.
• Provide leadership to controllers and accounting teams across subsidiaries.
• Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
• Develop financial models and evaluate capital investments for strategic decisions.
• Maintain internal controls and corporate governance practices.
• Coordinate audits, valuations, and audit readiness initiatives.
• Support treasury, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Lead finance systems enhancements and reporting transformations.
• Oversee corporate insurance and risk management programs.
• Manage M&A activity from a financial perspective and post‑acquisition integration.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to support strategic initiatives.
