Job summary

Unity Search Group is partnering with a premiere hospitality company to identify a VP Corporate Controller in Plano, TX. This leader will report to the CAO and oversee all accounting and financial reporting, shaping policies to improve close and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred/required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and technical/analytic capabilities.
• Hands-on leadership across diverse business scenarios, from growth to integration.
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership.

Primary focus of the role

The VP Corporate Controller reports directly to the CAO and is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions for our client. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting department, and also creates and implements policies and procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 8-10 years applicable experience, public accounting foundation strongly preferred CPA required Technical and analytical capabilities with deep understanding of GAAP Hands-on leadership experience in a broad array of business situations, ranging from growth to integration is preferred At least 5 years strong people management and team leadership with ability to hire and develop talented individuals
