Job Title: Corporate Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a growing retail SMB in Indiana to find a qualified Corporate Controller. This role requires proven P&L ownership and experience managing staff accountants in a small firm environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Month-End and Year-End closing processes
• Lead accounting team with 2 direct reports handling AP/AR and General Ledger
• Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Ensure accurate tax return preparation
• Perform reconciliations and ensure GAAP compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain internal controls and journal entries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• CPA preferred
