The Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our Indianapolis, IN headquarters. Under the leadership of our CFO, this role will oversee Prolific’s financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive financial efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and financial management experience from both the public and private sector.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic direction managing the financial operations of all Company entities
  2. Ensure successful and timely delivery of monthly financial close, consolidated financials, year end close and monthly bank reconciliations
  3. Expertly analyze and communicate financial information to stakeholders
  4. Manage risk and implement controls
  5. Collaborate with Prolific’s external accounting firm to ensure tax compliance and coordinate audits
  6. Reconcile prepaid accounts and calculation of accrual entries monthly to close financials
  7. Serve as the direct report manager of the team’s Billing Specialist, fostering development and growth opportunities
  8. Provide accountability, visibility and controls to support financial projects and promote risk management
  9. Drive operational improvement and consistency in all accounting processes, including standardization, enhancements, and automation of existing processes
  10. Collaborate with the M&A team to ensure compliance throughout due diligence process, during and after acquisitions
  11. Provide support to the VP of Finance and CFO with bank compliance reporting

Minimum Requirements

  1. 7-10 years of accounting and financial management experience
  2. Management / leadership experience
  3. Experience in both public and private sectors
  4. Experience with financial systems; Workamajig & Advantage are a plus
  5. Stickler for accuracy, attention to detail and organization
  6. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  7. Proven track record of success managing financial statement close
