We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation : Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• End-of-Month (EOM) / End-of-Year (EOY) Closing : Execute monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries and accruals, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Chart of Accounts Management : Maintain and update the chart of accounts to reflect organizational changes and ensure proper classification of transactions.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations; maintain accurate AR aging reports.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and reconcile AP ledgers; resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation and approvals to ensure accurate financial records.
• Financial Statement Analysis : Read and interpret Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements; identify trends, variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Budgeting : Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets; analyze budget vs. actual performance and report variances.
• Forecasting : Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and business trends; collaborate with departments to update projections.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow, prepare forecasts, and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years' experience
• Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
