Job description

Our client, a renowned Retail Group, is seeking a Controller to join their team in NYC

Responsibilties:

  • Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 is a must, with experience in ERP implementation.
  • At least one year of experience overseeing Accounts PayableAbility to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure accurate cost and expense reporting.
  • Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
