Job summary

Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable/Biller for our corporate office in Mobile, AL.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong follow-through and communication skills to manage billing for Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, Hospice and other payer sources. Key duties include filing claims, posting remittances, verifying eligibility, and resolving billing issues while maintaining professional interactions with facilities and payers.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years experience in medical billing, accounting, A/R, bookkeeping or related education and training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and electronically file all Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and Insurance claims
• Post remittance advises and cash receipts for all payer types
• Verify eligibility and maintain all documentation necessary to support medical claims
• Research and make corrections on all billing issues
• Communicate on a daily basis with your assigned facilities and answer all billing questions as needed
• Analyze the accounts receivable reports and exercise good judgment on working any problem claims
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

We are currently seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable/Biller for our Corporate office in Mobile, AL. The candidate must be detailed oriented and have good follow through and communication skills. The SNF Biller is responsible for billing functions for all payer sources such as private, Medicare A, Medicare B. Medicaid, Hospice, HMO and insurance claims.
