Job summary

Santander US is seeking a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to support Senior Relationship Managers with client management, prospecting, transaction execution and portfolio management. The Associate will lead client presentation preparation, coordinate across Credit, Product and Risk teams, and ensure timely execution of transactions while maintaining compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of corporate banking experience, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
• 3+ years of corporate banking relationship management experience - Required
• Understanding of corporate finance and banking products
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit
• Solid financial modeling skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Provides support to senior bankers and serves as a secondary banker for clients.
• Lead client presentation preparation, including background research and analysis, drafting and production of client marketing materials and pitch books.
• Support senior banker in follow-up on cross-sell opportunities with clients, coordinating Credit, Product and stakeholders in the Global Network.
• Serve as main contact with Risk Department, coordinating all relevant risk presentations.
• Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls per regulatory standards.
• Support product partners and monitor execution process for transactions to meet client expectations.
• Perform client research directed at uncovering opportunities to market bank products, industry views and trends.
