Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a non-profit organization in New York, is seeking an interim Attorney or Counsel to assist their team on a contract basis. The role requires experience advising on real estate secured lending.

The position is hybrid—2 days in office—with expected duration 6+ months and full-time hours. The pay rate ranges from $100 to $125 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience in finance, lending, or general commercial transactions.
• Experience representing lenders in secured and unsecured loans, including familiarity with all types of collateral, including real estate collateral
• JD and active license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Advising on secured and unsecured loans, particularly real estate secured lending
• Drafting and negotiating loan documents and other credit documentation
• Advising on a wide variety of matters including loan amendments, modifications, workouts, loan structuring, transaction strategy, low income tax credits, government contracts, and credit risk matters
• Working collaboratively with various internal and external teams
• Drafting contracts, provisions, and templates
• Handling general corporate matters and non-profit governance

The anticipated pay rate for this position is between $100 and $125 per hour, depending on experience.
