Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Chicago Corporate Associate to support M&A, commercial transactions and real estate matters in a hybrid role. The successful attorney will handle complex deals, advise clients, draft agreements and help grow the practice.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in corporate/transactional work, strong drafting skills and Illinois Bar admission. The position offers a balanced schedule, generous billable hours, and business origination incentives for high performers.

• M&A and general corporate experience strongly preferred.

• Collaborative personality and interest in joining a firm for the long term.

A growing, established Chicago law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, sophisticated transactional work, and a platform where they can continue developing both the legal skills and their own business.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with experienced corporate attorneys advising businesses throughout their entire life cycle — from formation and day-to-day operations through growth, acquisitions, sales and succession planning.

The practice works with businesses of all sizes, with a particular focus on closely held and middle-market companies, and takes a highly collaborative approach across corporate, real estate, employment, tax, litigation and other practice areas.
