A highly regarded Los Angeles law firm seeks an experienced Corporate Associate to join its sophisticated transactional practice. The role involves advising middle-market businesses, investors and capital providers on a broad range of corporate transactions with significant client exposure.

You will draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, advise throughout deal lifecycles, and work closely with senior attorneys on a variety of matters including M&A, financings, joint ventures,

A highly regarded Los Angeles law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate to join its sophisticated transactional practice.

The role offers the opportunity to advise middle-market businesses, investors and capital providers on a broad range of corporate transactions, with significant client exposure and responsibility.

The Role

You will work across a diverse corporate practice encompassing:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Equity financings
• Joint ventures
• Technology transactions
• General corporate and governance matters

Clients range from privately held and public companies to entrepreneurs, investors and family offices across industries including technology, media, entertainment, consumer products, food & beverage, financial services and manufacturing.

The position will involve drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents, advising clients throughout the lifecycle of deals and working closely with senior attorneys on sophisticated corporate matters.

About You

• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience
• Experience with M&A, financings, joint ventures and/or other sophisticated transactions
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills

Compensation

• Associates meeting the firm's performance requirements, including 1,900 billable hours, can potentially earn $380,000-$475,000 in total compensation
• Additional bonus opportunities for hours billed and collected above 1,900
• Separate origination bonus for work generated by the associate
