Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join the Downtown Los Angeles office with 4-6 years of corporate transactional experience to assist with our bustling M&A practice, which spans a wide variety of industries.

We are looking for an associate who has focused primarily on M&A transactions during their career and has significant hands‑on experience executing deals at a law firm with a national reputation. The associate must be comfortable drafting substantive transactional documents, running a deal team, and managing the transaction from start to finish. The ability to work with other team members and clients, and to take ownership of projects, is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience at a top national law firm working on mergers and acquisitions
• Must be admitted to the California State Bar or preparing to obtain admission
• Strong academic background from a top‑tier law school
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills

The annual salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000.
