The People Of: Professional Services in Los Angeles is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its busy corporate practice. You will work on high-impact mergers, acquisitions, and securities matters, collaborating with partners and clients across industries.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of transactional experience, strong drafting and analytical skills, and a JD from a U.S. law school. California Bar admission is preferred, with the opportunity for growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in general corporate transactional work.
• Strong deal experience in M&A, joint ventures, and/or securities offerings.
• Excellent academic credentials and a JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to the California Bar preferred.
• Demonstrated drafting, writing, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple matters and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have broad exposure to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and securities law. While private equity and finance experience is a plus, it is not a prerequisite. The incoming associate will work directly with partners and clients across a range of industries, providing support on transactions from inception to close.

• Annual salary range: $235,000 – $285,000, depending on experience.
