Job summary

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in the United States seeks a Corporate Actions Associate to support accurate and timely processing of corporate action events across domestic and international securities.

You will collaborate with trading, settlements, client service, compliance, and technology, perform reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in securities ops are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 1–3 years of experience in securities operations or corporate actions preferred.
• Basic understanding of equity and fixed income securities and securities processing.
• Experience with custody/processing platforms (DTCC/JPM/BNY) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and review corporate action events for domestic and international securities.
• Validate event details and disseminate information to internal stakeholders.
• Perform daily reconciliations and research discrepancies to resolve issues.
• Research and resolve position, entitlement, and cash breaks across systems.
• Monitor client instructions and ensure elections are processed correctly.
