Job summary

Pinnacle Partners in Indianapolis is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee key corporate accounting functions with emphasis on property transactions, fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting.

The role supervises a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, collaborates with auditors, and partners with departments across the organization. Onsite initially, with potential hybrid arrangement later.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 years accounting experience; a mix of public and corporate accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
• Proficient Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFs.
• Ability to learn new financial systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including lease and marketing accounting, accruals, and employee benefits accounting and reporting.
• Prepare schedules and reporting for the parent company in an environment with public-company-level reporting requirements.
• Evaluate new leases and ensure lease compliance across 175 facilities.
• Assign work to and review the work of the Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant.
• Work closely with auditors and serve as a key partner to senior accounting leadership.
• Oversee asset management and lease accounting systems, including creating and modifying reports.
