Job summary

CFS seeks an Asset Management Accounting Manager in Providence, RI to bridge Asset Management, Accounting, and Property Management. This newly created role offers high visibility within a growing real estate organization and exposure to senior leadership.

You will analyze NOI, occupancy, rent rolls, and capex, review monthly statements, and lead budgeting and forecasting. Hybrid work awaits with broad ownership across reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real estate asset management experience.
• Experience with owner/operator, asset management firm, or property management.
• Affordable housing experience (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8) preferred.
• Strong understanding of NOI, rent rolls, occupancy, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and property management systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Asset Management, Accounting, and third-party Property Management teams.
• Analyze property and portfolio performance including NOI, occupancy, rent rolls, collections, and capex.
• Review monthly financial statements and reporting for accuracy with property operations.
• Lead budget-to-actual variance analysis, forecasting support, and financial reporting.
• Support reporting for LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 portfolios; drive internal controls and accountability.
