Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager in Grandview, Missouri, to lead accounting activities across the U.S. locations, ensuring accurate month-end close and strong internal controls.

You will manage intercompany activity, support audits, and coach a growing accounting team, with collaboration across multiple sites. CPA or CMA is a plus; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience required.
• U.S. GAAP knowledge and SOX experience required.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting processes and month-end close.
• Ensure SOX internal controls are followed.
• Support plant performance reporting and analysis.
• Manage intercompany activity across locations.
• Collaborate with cash applications, disbursements, and fixed assets.
• Support corporate tax and audits.
• Coach and develop the accounting team.
