Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Grandview, MO, is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead plant accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across a multi-site manufacturing operation. Responsibilities

• Partner closely with plant leadership and Corporate Finance.
• Provide insight into standard cost, production variances, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, absorption, and throughput.
• Drive improvements in close processes, inventory accuracy, working capital, and internal controls.
• Support product costing, margin analysis, cost reduction, capital planning, and ROI analysis.
• Help improve dashboards, reporting tools, ERP/data integrity, and financial decision-making.

We’re hiring a Plant Controller! Silgan Dispensing is looking for an experienced finance leader to support our multi-site manufacturing operation in Grandview, MO.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being close to the business—not just reporting the numbers, but helping plant leaders understand what is driving performance and where improvements can be made.

In this role, you will:

• Lead plant accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Partner closely with plant leadership and Corporate Finance.
• Provide insight into standard cost, production variances, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, absorption, and throughput.
• Drive improvements in close processes, inventory accuracy, working capital, and internal controls.
• Support product costing, margin analysis, cost reduction, capital planning, and ROI analysis.
• Help improve dashboards, reporting tools, ERP/data integrity, and financial decision-making.

What you’ll bring:

• 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
