Job summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union in Brentwood, NY seeks an IT professional to assist with core systems operations and updates. You will work with the supervisor on software releases, data management, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring smooth system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, IT-related preferred
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred
• Banking or CU experience preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with SQL and database concepts preferred
• Knowledge of Batch Job Scheduler and Document Management System preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring the daily core systems, incident and problem tracking, and reporting
• Assist in routine system maintenance, including core system updates and proper processing
• SQL will be used to generate system queries or modify existing queries
• Research problems and implement resolutions when necessary
• Participate in disaster recovery testing
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
• Keeps the Manager informed of activities, conditions and issues of department
• Performs other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor
