Responsibilities

• Follow, model, and promote safety policies and standards in core shed operations.
• Provide leadership and management of core shed staff, planning, task assignment, and accountability.
• Direct daily work of core shed personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate completion of duties.
• Set daily priorities, assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Oversee all core sampling, reverse circulation sampling, production sample handling, shipping, inventory, and storage activities.
• Maintain and verify inventory and chain-of-custody records, data quality, and documentation.
