Endeavor Health is seeking a Supervisor, Lab - Core Lab MLS in Evanston Hospital to lead and mentor a team of Medical Technologists and Technicians. You will coordinate schedules, oversee a broad range of tests, ensure quality and safety, and drive improvements across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 5 years as a Medical Technologist with leadership, and MT/MLS certification; a Master's and LIS/middleware experience

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5 years experience as Medical Technologist with leadership experience.
• 2 years experience as Senior MLS or Technical specialist.
• Certification as MT/MLS (ASCP or equivalent) required.
• Experience with instrumentation, middleware or LIS implementation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of medical technologists and staff.
• Assign work schedules and optimize staffing for efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Oversee hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology and blood banking tests.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, protocols and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, initiate supply orders and oversee maintenance.
• Develop and maintain quality control and QA programs per CLIA/CAP/OSHA.
• Participate in proficiency testing, inspections and audits.
