Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Core Lab Supervisor in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role oversees the core laboratory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and immunodiagnostics.

The ideal candidate will have MLS/MT certification, a Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, and at least three years managing technical lab services, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive performance and quality.

Qualifications

• MLS or MT certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences or medical technology required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical laboratory services and operations.
• Strong knowledge in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Immunodiagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pathologists and leadership to ensure laboratory services support enterprise initiatives.
• Direct and oversee efficient operations while liaising with lab leadership.
• Maintain competency in all test systems and act as subject matter expert.
• Implement performance improvement processes to enhance patient, teammate, and physician satisfaction.
• Plan and implement standards to improve quality, consistency, efficiency and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
• Develop effective communication strategies and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure accuracy of test results, staffing and resource utilization.
• Lead, coach and develop the team with clear performance expectations.
• Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct.
