Qualifications

• Terminal academic degree required.
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience at the college/university level, at the Instructor rank.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the area of course content required.
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Experience in scholarly activity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: provides student-centered learning through best practice teaching activities.
• Scholarship: establishes and implements an approved scholarship plan/faculty development plan as required by accreditation and university standards.
• Service: serves on programmatic and university committees and participates in professional associations.
• Administration: performs course coordinator and lead instructor roles and advises students while collaborating with the program director.
• Professionalism: demonstrates professional behavior and upholds university policies and core values.
• Other duties: completes annual self-evaluation and supports faculty development opportunities.
